GALLERY 303
The premiere of the first Conte Animated exhibition was on Thursday, Jan 20th, in gallery 303 in the HFAC at BYU. What a great event. There was over 400 in attendance (sorry for running out of food!). Thanks to all those that came to support the event, it made all the hard work that went into this thing completely worth it!
Feel free to read the letter from the Gallery Director of Gallery 303, Jason Lanegan, here.
I have to give HUGE thanks to those that helped set up this event. Cambell Christensen, Jason and Jazmine Knapp, Kelli Slade, Lee Cowan, Jared Greenleaf, Jason Lanegan, Tiffany Woodward and others that spent tons of hours hanging artwork, setting up audio/video equipment, painting, and the HUGE task of mounting vinyl lettering on the wall. Here’s a fun few pics of the set up. (Hopefully, the midnight Panda Express was well worth it!)
I hired photographer, Scott Gutke, to come and document the Conte Animated Exhibition in Gallery 303. The following are several images he captured. You can see more of Scott’s work on his website (http://scottgutke.com).
